It’s not every day that a great friend chooses to get married in Thailand! In March 2018, we were graciously invited to a friend’s wedding in Phuket. With the help and generosity of great family and friends, we were able to plan and experience our first trip abroad together. As we could only take a week of vacation due to work restraints, we knew it would be a busy and eventful week with countless lasting memories.
Emily has always wanted to visit Hong Kong. Her parents called it their favorite city to visit, and we thought that since Hong Kong is a former British colony it would be a good introduction to Asian culture for Westerners. Plus, we flew Cathay Pacific, which allowed a stopover in Hong Kong when booking our flights. The following blog posts on this page describe our day-by-day itinerary in Hong Kong followed by Phuket, Thailand. Feel free to comment with any questions you may have; hopefully our trip will inspire and aid in planning your next adventure
